Training

We understand that the more competent a carer is, the more likely they are to be able to provide the level of care we expect. At Enterprise Care Support we feel that training our staff as thoroughly as possible is crucial to our success.

When we employ a new carer they undergo a comprehensive training schedule where they are educated in all mandatory aspects such as manual moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene, challenging behavior and health and safety. We also provide training based on the recommendations from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our Homecare Managers monitor and review all carers weekly to check performance and ensure that communication channels are maintained throughout the company.

Staff

All Our staff are trained to the highest standards and DBS checks are compulsory for all the team members in the organisation.

Our rigorous recruitment procedures ensure that we employ ideally suited candidates, personally interviewed by one of our trained consultants and thoroughly vetted to determine their skills and experience.

They are trained in Manual Handling, Emergency First Aid, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety. All our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.

From April 2015 The Care Act came in place and workers will be undergoing another training programme of meeting 15 standards and obtaining care certificates which we have already started with all new staff and existing staff to bring them upto date with the Care Act.

We aims to achieve excellence in providing care services that match or even surpass our clients’ expectations.
